As the previous Commander for the Fort Carson Medical Treatment Facility… I am always looking for new and innovative ideas to assist our Soldiers. I believe the I WAS THERE film workshops provide therapeutic value and serve as a powerful way of reaching Soldiers. The Soldiers who participated in the workshops all agreed it was a useful way to cope with the stress of deployment, and it was helpful in better understanding their symptoms and/or containing their negative side effects.
