…Many who were having difficulties addressing their trauma issues were eager to tell their story with this format… Frequently, this clarified the focus of the soldier as they worked through the therapy and addressed trauma issues. Almost all of the soldiers that I work with showed significant evidence of improvement by moving forward in their therapy, family relationships, and career development. The I WAS THERE Film Workshop is clearly an effective program in helping the soldiers deal with the traumatic events that they experienced while they deployed.
