Workshop Alumnus Roberto Velez Directs a New Film

Our workshop alumnus Roberto Velez has just produced a new film entitled “Keep The Faith.” Roberto attended a workshop at Fort Bragg, NC, and has since begun film school in the Raleigh area. We wanted to share his latest work with you!

From the Director: “The film is a story about a Soldier with PTSD hitting rock bottom after his wife left him. His willingness to get help allows him to get his family back and to get his life back on track.”

We here at I WAS THERE strongly believe that the best and most effective stories about service members are those created by service members. This is one example of continuing the workshop experience and expressing life experiences through film. We are so proud of Roberto’s achievements and encourage you to check out the film and share it!
