I’ve just become aware of what seems like an extraordinary symposium put on by the Bush Institute in advance of next week’s INVICTUS GAMES for injured veterans. The half-day symposium will take place from 1-430PM EDT in Orlando and will feature some of the most passionate and important voices shaping the international discussion on posttraumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and the invisible wounds of war.
The program is streamable live via THIS LINK.
Featured speakers include, among others: Arnold Fisher, founder of the Fisher Houses and Honorary Chairman of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, VA Secretary Bob McDonald, and Dr. Barbara Van Dahlen, founder of Give an Hour, an organization which provides free mental health services to veterans.
This is a high quality program. Don’t miss it.
